COSMETIC DENTISTRY

Our practice offers a wide range of cosmetic dentistry options to provide each patient with individual dental care to achieve our goal of improving or maintaining the appearance of your smile.

VENEERS

Porcelain veneers are thin custom shaped shells of selected tooth color that cover the visible surface of teeth. They could be used to address a wide range of esthetic concerns including undersized teeth, mild to moderate spacing, mild to moderate discoloration, and mild misalignment.
Since, unlike bonded resins, porcelain veneers are fabricated outside patient’s mouth in a controlled laboratory settings we are able to create the perfect shape and shade our patients’ desire. For the same reason they are very resistant to discoloration and with our best effort to adjust and fine tune the interrelation between veneers and the opposing teeth they are quite durable structures.
Having inserted more than thousand veneers over twenty years of experience, we proudly claim to have satisfied every single patient who received such treatment from us.

CROWNS

Crowns although mainly used as a restorative measure in dentistry, if the proper system is selected, they can be utilized to change shape and shade of teeth with more severe conditions than those which could be addressed with veneers.
In order to achieve the best cosmetic result in the front of the mouth we mostly use pure ceramic crowns fabricated by most enhanced up to date systems currently available in North America and some sophisticated dental porcelain laboratories in Germany. These types of crowns can treat severe tooth size discrepancy, fractured and chipped tooth, severe discoloration, and moderate to severe misalignments between upper and lower teeth.

RESIN RESTORATIONS

Also referred as bonding, resin restorations are economic substitute for porcelain veneers. They can create generally acceptable results specially when time is limited and esthetic achievement is an urgent matter (hours). In such cases smile enhancement is usually fulfilled in one appointment in our office and yes you will be ready to showcase your nice smile within an hour!

WHITENING

In-office treatment can brighten your teeth up to six to ten shades. Using a special, light or chemically activated whitening gel, this procedure is a quick and convenient way to achieve the smile you've always wanted. Tooth whitening will not last forever, so the whitened teeth need to be maintained by regular boosting procedure.

For in-home whitening, one of our team members will take an impression of your teeth and then make custom mouthpieces (trays) to fit your teeth. You will be given a supply of bleaching gel (usually containing hydrogen peroxide) that is applied to the tray and then you will be instructed to wear the tray for a certain amount of time. Care should be taken to use only the prescribed amount of whitening gel as excess material can contact your gums and cause irritation.

In-office whitening often takes between 30 to 90 minutes to complete and sometimes requires multiple visits to the office to achieve the amount of whitening required. The whitening agent (again, a gel containing hydrogen peroxide) is applied to your teeth. Some of the in-office whitening agents require special lights or heat for activation.

Both in-home and in-office bleaching can cause increased tooth sensitivity in some people. This is a normal side effect and usually subsides a few days after the whitening treatments have been completed.
